ADAM RODNESS
Co-Founder, Executive Producer
Co-founder of 5’7 Films, Adam has a proven track record as a feature film and television creator and producer. He is also recognized as a top tier music video producer for such artists as Eminem, Drake, The Black-Eyed Peas and Usher to name a few. Adam was the co-creator and served as producer of “The Thrillusionists”, a Rockie Award nominated reality series for CBC. His first feature documentary “20 Moves”, told the story of the Rubik’s Cube, released on the Biography Channel. His follow up doc “Jack of All Trades”, which investigates the world of baseball trading cards found its way to number 1 on the USA iTunes charts and was acquired by Netlfix. Rodness’ has since co-wrote and produced the cult horror features “Scarecrows”, “The Haunted House on Kirby Road” and “Faking A Murderer” which made its festival premiere at Telluride Horror Show.
STU STONE
Co-Founder, Executive Producer
Best known for his work as an actor in “Donnie Darko” as Ronald Fisher and having voiced dozens of famous characters on shows like “The Magic School Bus”, Stone was also the co-creator, EP and star of MTV’s “Blowin’ Up!” In more recent years, he’s turned his attention to directing, putting out stoner-horror films “Scarecrows” and “The Haunted House On Kirby Road”, along with the CBC television series “Thrillusionists”, Dreamworks TV’s “Junk Drawer Magic” and Universal Kids’ “Junk Drawer Magic Adventures” as well as the highly acclaimed documentary “Jack Of All Trades”, which appeared on Netflix. Having Starred in hundreds of commercials, television shows and movies, he’s had a prolific career as an actor which has allowed him to transition into writing, producing, and directing at the highest level. Stone’s directorial gem “Faking A Murderer” debuts in the United States August 6th.
ANDREW KAPPEL
Head of Development
A graduate with a Master’s in Film and TV Producing from the prestigious Chapman University, Andrew has developed and produced across multiple formats including feature films, reality television, documentaries and commercials for major brands such as Hewlett-Packard, Volkswagen and SodaStream. Notable television credits include hit reality show Criss Angel Believe for SPIKE TV and the acclaimed paranormal show, Ghost Bait for the BIO channel and most recently stands as producer for America’s Most Wanted.
NIGEL DOWNER
Creative Director
Nigel Downer is an actor, writer and comedian based in Toronto. An alumnus of The Second City Toronto, Nigel recently co-wrote and co-starred in the CBC Gem/Prime Video comedy web-series BIT PLAYAS, winner of two Canadian Screen Awards (Best Writing and Best Web Series). Film & TV credits include TITANS (Netflix), BARONESS VON SKETCH SHOW (CBC), ODD SQUAD (PBS), and TWO FOR THE WIN (Hallmark Channel). When Nigel isn’t in front of the camera, he is on stage performing live comedy and improv on various stages around Toronto, teaching comedy in Europe, and lending his critical eye as a director for sketch troupes all over Canada.Nigel also has extensive experience in writing rooms, adding to such shows as TOTAL DRAMA ISLAND, and commercials for brands like NINTENDO.
JAMIE FACENDA
Head of Unscripted
A veteran producer, writer, and director. Jamie is a graduate of Ithaca College from the prestigious Television/Radio Program in the Roy H. Park School of Communications. He has developed and produced a variety of successful unscripted shows for stars like Khloe Kardashian to Criss Angel. He is recognized as a top producer for networks including SyFy, History Channel, NatGeo, ViceTV, Travel Channel/Discovery+, Nickleodeon, truTV, MTV, NBC, Netflix and more.
