5’7 Films is a Toronto-based production company founded by brothers-in-law Stu Stone and Adam Rodness, known for bold, genre-bending entertainment that blurs the line between fiction and reality.
VMA and Rockie Award nominated producer Adam Rodness began his career producing music videos for internationally acclaimed artists including Drake, Eminem, Usher and The Black Eyed Peas. Also an accomplished actor, Rodness has appeared in numerous film and television productions, including Eli Roth’s Netflix horror series Hemlock Grove, DC’s blockbuster feature Shazam!, Murdoch Mysteries and Taken.
Stu Stone is a veteran actor, filmmaker and recording artist who has worked in film and television since childhood. He is best known for playing Ronald Fisher in the cult classic Donnie Darko and voicing the beloved Ralphie Tennelli on the original Emmy-winning animated series The Magic School Bus. Stone also co-created, executive produced and starred in MTV’s Blowin’ Up and has appeared in hundreds of television shows, films and commercials throughout his career.
Together, Stone and Rodness co-created the Rockie Award–nominated CBC series The Thrillusionists and produced the acclaimed documentary Jack of All Trades, which reached No. 1 on the U.S. iTunes documentary chart before being acquired by Netflix. Their growing slate includes the groundbreaking hybrid true crime feature Faking a Murderer, the comedy caper Vandits and the paranormal hybrid comedy Don’t F**k with Ghosts, executive produced by Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat.
5’7 Films has now expanded into digital programming through its own YouTube channel Potluck Originals, bringing celebrity driven unscripted and scripted projects directly to audiences worldwide.
